Frogs!

We have Frogs in our class.

The children have really enjoyed watching the tadpoles grow and turn into frogs. This was such an interesting process and all of the children and staff have watched closely, filling in our tadpole diaries as we went.

Photos to follow soon!

I have released the frogs at a pond local to to where I leave.

Our School Trip.

Sorry they are so late but here are a  couple of snaps from our trip to the Royal Armouries.

We heard a story all about a knight.

We met a real knight.

He tried on his armour for us.

We made our own puppets.

We saw armour for children and small replica suits of armour.

Reception Tadpoles.

Sorry we haven't had any updates for a while.

Tadpole Fun!

We have enjoyed learning about tadpoles as part of this topic and have enjoyed watching them grow. Each week we have been filling in our tadpole diaries- keeping a track of their progress.

First week in December

Well the children are all really excited already for Christmas. We have turned the role=play area into a workshop for Santa. We have dressing up clothes, tools for building toys, labels and wrapping paper, naughty and nice lists and all sorts of exciting things. The children all enjoyed decorating the tree and opening the advent calendar.

We have spent a lot of time time this week learning the real meaning of Christmas and listening to the Nativity story. We are also making Chrismon decorations for the School Christmas tree this week which are different religious symbols, made of white and gold.
